The Healing Power of Stillness

Osnorekyates_hiRGBn Sunday, October 16th, 2016, Lari Snorek-Yates will present a free public lecture on the topic, The Healing Power of Stillness from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, Rehearsal Studio, 500 Castro Street, Mountain View, CA.  (+calendar, Facebook)

Join us to discover a stillness that brings rest and healing to our everyday lives—a deep-settled calm that cannot be disrupted by fear or any outward disturbance—even during elections! Lari will include examples of how prayer and the Bible’s spiritual message brings lasting peace and complete healing.

This lecture was originally scheduled for the outdoor ParkStage, but has been moved indoors to avoid likely wet lawn from much-needed rain. The Rehearsal Studio entrance is at the rear of the building adjacent to the ParkStage. The Center for the Performing Arts is half a mile from the Mountain View train station and there is free parking in the Civic Center garage under the building.

One Rehearsal Studio entrance is in the rear near the original ParkStage location.

Lari has facilitated workshops and given talks in French and English in Africa, Europe, Canada and the U.S. She taught graduate students at the World Learning Institute where she received her Masters degree in sustainability and peacebuilding. The Institute focused on issues of social justice and community action, and she could see how relevant the ideas of Christian Science were to the challenges facing our world today. She now works full-time as a healing practitioner of Christian Science.
